Pros and cons of sliding doors for bedrooms?
Considering replacing regular swing doors with sliding doors in two bedrooms to save space. Are sliding doors practical for daily use? Do they stay quiet over time or do they get noisy?

We installed sliding doors in two bedrooms and it’s been great for space-saving especially in smaller rooms. They’re smooth and quiet if you get good quality tracks and rollers. The only downside is they don’t seal as tightly as swing doors, so soundproofing is slightly worse. If you're thinking about them, check out some nice modern sliding doors lots of glass and solid options available.
